Daddy Owen went through the much-publicised loss of his father last year. The artist did not shy away from speaking about the influence that his father had on him and what his passing meant to him.
In an exclusive interview with Mpasho, he spoke about where he wants to go with his career and why he had been very silent last year. We had wanted to know what plans he had for his career. He said:
“There is a transition that is happening. People are moving from analog to digital. I have been thriving so much in selling hard copy. The one thing about digital is that it is not controlled. Digital is easy for our fans to access but difficult for us to monetize. “
