“Constructive criticism is not bad. The bad thing is when people talk about you while they don’t even know you. They imagine things and talk about them as if it were gospel truth. That is why most of the time we opt to keep off those who try to stir up things about us. If we were to answer to everyone’s criticism, we would lose focus,” he remarks before taking a thoughtful pose.

“There are many things we do that people don’t know. We organise charity events, run a children orphanage and feeding programmes. We just don’t like to thump our chest about what we do to give back to the society. However, these guys just talk trash. Why? Why do they always look for dirt?” he charges before going into another prolonged vacant gaze.

We drive to Buruburu where the couple runs a free kindergarten and orphanage, currently housing 180 children.

“I have always loved taking care of the needy and I have passion for children who need help. I started the orphanage when I was in primary school. It’s not easy helping people from your pocket and it takes God’s grace to achieve this,” says Size 8, the former secular singer who is now known for her passion for evangelism through her songs and the TV show she hosts, Pambio Live on Maisha Magic East.
