Lucy Njeri who was born and immediately dumped by her own mother in a dustbin. Speaking to The Nairobian, she narrated her story about how she is not even certain of her age but estimates it at 27 years.
Lucy narrated further that she grew up knowing the good Samaritan who rescued her from death in the dustbin as her mother. Unfortunately, the lady passed on and that was the beginning of misery in her life. Her adoptive mother passed on when Lucy was only four years old and she was left with her brothers who mistreated her.
This was a sad turning point for Lucy Njeri who was never given food nor shelter and so she opted to do odd jobs just so she could sustain herself.
