StarTimes Kung Fu event set for tomorrow. Jose Chameleone to perform

The annual Kung Fu event organized by pay television company StarTimes Media is set to be held tomorrow at the KICC grounds.

The event, which will be a family affair, will be graced by ten Kung Fu masters from Beijing China.

Local Kung Fu clubs will benefit from training programmes from the Chinese martial arts experts while Kenya’s three Kung Fu experts will go to China for a fully paid training for a week at The Beijing International Arts school.

The event will also be in line with the celebration of one of StarTimes’ flagship channels – the Kung Fu channel. “The event will be a free entry family fun filled day with unmatched talent display in martial arts, music, comedy and much more,” said StarTimes Kenya in a statement to Bizna Digital Solutions.

During the Kung Fu event, at least 3 lucky Kenyans who took part in the Kung Fu competition will win a fully paid trip to China. The trip will last for a week. The winners will also be lucky enough to take part in training exercises which will be held at the Beijing International Arts School in December this year.

The winners will be selected from a pool of finlists who took part in the competition whose challenge was to take a video of themselves doing their favourite Kung Fu moves and posting it on the StarTimes Kenya Facebook page.

Apart from the Chinese Kung Fu masters, the event tomorrow will be graced by sensational Ugandan singer Jose Chameleone who will be performing live. Other top acts that will perform at the event will include Jua Kali, Timmy TDat and gospel singer Gloria Muliro.

Entry will be free. Be sure to attend with your family and friends for a guaranteed day of fan and interactions.
