The American comedy-drama television series Lipstick Jungle is now showing on StarTimes Kenya.
The hour long series which was created by DeAnn Heline and Eileen Heisler for NBC Universal Television Studio, will be showing on StarTimes from tomorrow Channel 054 on DTT and Channel 129 on DTH. One episode per day will run from 18.30 every Monday to Friday.
The series is based on the best-selling novel of the same name by Candace Bushnell, who also served as the show’s executive producer.
The series follows the professional and personal lives of three best friends, all of whom are top professionals in their respective careers.
According to a synopsis by Wikipedia, Victory Ford (Price) is a fashion designer, Nico Reilly (Raver) is the editor-in-chief of Bonfire Magazine, and Wendy Healy (Shields) is the former president of Parador Pictures, currently producing independently. These three powerful women are always there to support one another and navigate the crazy, romantic, and sometimes scary world that is New York City.
Interestingly, the show stars the renowned Brook Shields.
Brooke Shields is also widely renowned for having had a romantic relationship with the late king of pop Michael Jackson in the early 1990s. In Lipstick Jungle, Shields starred in 20 episodes.
