She started to behave like a powerful witch doctor – screaming, chanting, and displaying blazing eyes. The word had clearly been connected with the influence of a controlling witchdoctor. My friend stared in amazement. I said that all we needed to do was to pray. After some quiet prayer, about ten minutes later, much to our relief, she calmed down. Then, very clearly, she said that the spirit had been released. When we next met, she was ready to pray to forgive all those who had hurt her.
Two years later, her eldest son was brought out of her country – remarkably by one of her husband’s political opponents! She celebrated this great event with a splendid party attended by many members of her church community.
My friend, P, realised at a very young age that she had an unwanted and disturbing ‘gift’. From the age of eight, she started to see a black frame appearing around the faces of people who were close to her. She soon realised that this meant that she wouldn’t see them again.

She said, ‘I realised I needed to pray and I asked Nick to pray with me. I renounced evil and offered the gift to the Lord to do with me as He will. Nick took the sword of the Spirit
and cut me free from my mother’s generational line. Nick told the enemy he had no authority over me and to go to the place that Jesus has prepared for him. We asked the Holy Spirit to fill me and to give me one of His gifts in place of the psychic gift.’
