To me the Daily Prophetic Words remind me of the parable of the mustard seed in Matthew 13:31–32. It is a small seed of revelation that produces a big tree, or growth, in people’s lives.
The Daily Prophetic Words have become the thing that I am most known for with my ministry. God has gifted me to understand the times and seasons. This is why my weekly and monthly prophetic articles often contain specific dates and periods of time.
Hearing God is not mystical
I try to explain as much as I can about how these words come to me. I try to let people know that it is not always as mystical as they think to hear God.
It actually becomes naturally supernatural when you can grasp and activate the ability to hear God on a daily basis. I try to demystify it and really activate people into recognizing the fact that God is speaking all the time, and most of us are missing it.
If you want to accurately hear the voice of God in your life, it takes time and effort. In Luke 5:16, it says that “… Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.” (NIV)
We can set aside time to pray through things and begin to get a hold of them. It does not matter what time of day you do it or how much time you spend. The important thing is to find the best time for you.
You can learn to discern God’s voice
Just as things are rapidly changing in the world around us, so our ability to hear the voice of God is changing as well. Many people, including myself, might have been trained on how to hear the voice of God using methods that were more effective in previous seasons.
God is speaking through dreams and visions, prophetic words, divine circumstances, art, music and media. We simply need to develop our spiritual eyes and ears to tune into God and filter out the negative and counterfeit. It does take practice, like anything else.
