Newly crowned Gospel Male Artist Of The Year 2016, L-Jay Maasai lost his vehicle a Toyota Fielder KCG 258G after it was stolen outside his gate early Wednesday morning.
 
On an Instagram post, L-Jay captioned the update “The Devil is a liar….he comes to steal, kill and destroy.. My car was stolen this morning at 4AM outside my gate. KCG 258G Reported at Industrial area Police station. I Thank God I was left unharmed.

About L-Jay Maasai

James Lekishon Ole Kamwaro a.k.a L-Jay Maasai was born born in Narok, about 23 years ago.

He was partly raised in Maasai land Narok and attended Moi Primary School, Narok, then joined Light Academy, Ngong and finished his secondary education at Millenium Academy in Nairobi.

L-Jay is currently living in Nairobi doing music and art work.

He discovered his music talent when he was a child and was helped to nurture it by his teachers and parents.

He put in more effort while in high school way back in 2008.
L-Jay says, “I used to sing songs by prominent artistes like Nyota Ndogo, Angela Chibalonza, Hardstone, Ringtone, Ruftone among others. I wish to sing until I get to the level of Jimmy Gait, DK, Gloria Muliro, Willy Paul and Emmy Kosgei.”
