Uhuru graced the Kenya Conference of Catholic Bishops 2017 National Lenten Campaign Launch, an event where Catholic Bishops vouched for peaceful and fair elections.
President Uhuru has urged Kenyans to embrace each other even as the country heads towards the August 8 election.
President Uhuru Kenyatta on Saturday, February 25 attended a prayer conference in connection to the August 8 elections.
This, even as his NASA counterparts were campaigning in Eldoret where they also tore at Uhuru and his Jubilee administration leadership and asked residents to vote for their new coalition.

The country is looking to hold the general election in August 8, 2017, an affair that is hotly contested than ever before pitting NASA and Jubilee.
“Kenyans know that the true enemy is not those of another ethnicity. Instead, it is bad politics and unethical leadership. I urge all of you to embrace peace in your utterances, in your homes and workplaces, and to correct those around you who seek conflict and confrontation,” said Uhuru during the event held at the University of Nairobi grounds.
