Faith Muturi is a celebrated media personality who has been in the industry for years. Many remember her as a former host of a gospel show, Crossover 101. She hosted alongside DJ Mo and interviewed some of the biggest names in the country. She later on left the show to focus on other things, including her son, who was born last year.
She was pretty excited about her pregnancy and shared her journey with her fans on social media. The tales did not end there as she continued sharing her journey as a mother after giving birth to Lemuel.
Well, many people did not understand why she gave her son a Hebrew name, but she has finally revealed the reason behind it.
She took to social media to explain the reason, writing: “I’m soooooo grateful. Yesterday was a very special day for us?. Why so?,.. Well, many of you have asked what the name Lemuel means. It’s is a Hebrew name which means “Devoted/ Dedicated to God”. So what made yesterday super- significant is that we got to take our son for baby dedication and an even greater blessing that it was done at the church where our parents minister. May Lemuel live for God all the days of His life. As his daddy @george_ngugi_ often declares “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord”. Parenting is such a huge and often intimidating responsibility. It’s scary that we can educate a child, maybe even feed them but for a child to love and live for God is only by God’s divine grace. Dear Lord, teach us how to raise this child as you desire. May He hunger and thirst for you. In Jesus Name. Amen???.”
