DJ Mo has been embroiled in a nightmare affair that just doesn’t seem to go away. The affair, in this case, is the allegation that he charges gospel musicians money so that he can play their music videos on his popular Crossover 101 on NTV.
The show can be a launch pad for upcoming artistes who wants to desperately make it in this industry. Why? Because of the much-needed airplay that musicians need for their music to enter the collective consciousness of the public.
So getting on the show is the goal for many an up and coming musician. Take Nexxie for example.
The artist claims to have sent 20,000 shillings to Dj Mo for his song to be played on his show. He said:
“To them it was, ‘What is 20,000?’ to me it was ‘Everything’.
