4. Taking on Daddy Owen The good, bad and ugly sides of Bahati Tena Denno and Bahati collaborated on a song. The proceeds went to Denno. Bahati was at the forefront of fighting for Denno, a visually-impaired gospel artiste, when they accused Daddy Owen of denying him royalties on a song they collaborated on. Industry seniors including Daddy Owen’s brother, Roughtone, told Bahati to respect his seniors and not falsely accuse others without evidence. Daddy Owen did comment, however, that Denno had received his royalty money, and even gifted him with KSh 1 million after their song won an award.
