Bishop Margaret Wanjiru Response After Sakaja Quit From Governors Race
Wanjiru has declared she is still on the race to remove incumbent Evans Kidero.
She added that Team Nairobi, an outfit made up of MPs and Jubilee aspirants against the candidacy of Peter Kenneth was supportive of Sakaja’s move.
According to the Bishop, TeamNairobi/Sonko’s Camp had earlier agreed that Sakaja goes for the Senate seat as they work on the rest of the re-alignment that will face the Peter Kenneth’s camp in the Jubilee party primaries.

She added that Sonko is still working towards acquiring a Certificate of Good Conduct, one of the major requirements for his nomination papers to be accepted by Jubilee.
