Speaking during the ordination of four priests and six deacons at St Paul and Peters Cathedral, Rev Kariuki advised Christians to support the men of God so that they don’t succumb to temptations and sin.
The prelate lamented that some Christians tempt priests and pastors instead of constantly praying for them and counselling them to stick to their chastity vows.
“When you obey God, everything will be okay. I urge Christians to assist priests to remain faithful to their vows and mission of serving God. You shouldn’t tempt them to test their faith. They are your children and are fallible human beings just like other mortal men,” he said.
The Bishop warned that a curse may befall anyone who tempts a servant of God.
Rev Kariuki further advised Christians to get many children if they have the means and ability to bring them up.
He said a couple should not limit itself to one or two children if they can manage to bring up about four or five.
He said it is from the several children that God will anoint one of them to be his servant.
