Lucy set up camp in Pangani Nairobi where she joined a dangerous gang and used daggers to rob people and her major target was women saying she hated women so much and found joy in robbing her.
Her turning point from crime was came when she saw most of her friends get killed by cops. She stopped that life and moved back to Thika to become a house girl then became a hair dresser in Umoja.
She met her husband Dennis Ochieng who she says made her want to start a family and from then on her life changed. Lucy is now a gospel artiste and evangelist who she spreads the word of God through music. She is even a radio host at Ezra Radio and has successful businesses and she thanks God and her husband who has made her see the better side of life but she still clings onto the hope that she will one day meet her biological parents.
