The case was reported at the police station but they decided to deal with it as a family.
According to one neighbour, Waweru, he said he saw Samuel around the compound with a mouth full of blood but that did not raise any suspensions right until Samuel confessed to the murder.
Samuel confessed that he had enough of being accused. Eliud went to his house and accused him of assaulting the sister in law and this triggered the murder.
Samuel was arrested.
