“The accused lied to his female client that the only way he could administer medication to her was through having an act of sex with her”
Geoffrey Shiundu was arraigned before Kakamega’s Senior Resident Magistrate Erick Malesi last week charged with raping a female client on February 16, 2018.
Shiundu, said to be a witchdoctor, is alleged to have performed the act to his client to “transfer medication” to her when she sought her help to solve personal problems she was undergoing.
“The accused lied to his female client that the only way he could administer medication to her was through having an act of sex with her. The complainant declined but the accused forced her into the act,” read the charge particulars.
The ‘mganga’ who stayed in the dock, looking from the magistrate to the floor then back, faced an alternative charge of committing an indecent act with his client by touching her genitalia without her consent.
