He had another count of assaulting the lady by cutting with a razor blade, an act that left her with scars.
“The accused visited the woman at her place of work in Ikonyero area Kakamega East and proceeded to cut her body using a razor blade causing her grievous bodily harm,” read the charge particulars.
“He promised the lady that he would place his medicine through the scars.”
He denied all the charges and was granted Sh300,000 bond with a surety of similar amount. The case will be herd on June 4.
