Tanzanian star Ray C has claimed that there is no gospel music in Kenya.
The one time talk of the town in Tanzania went ahead to ascertain that Kenyan artistes keep changing with dynamics of the market irrespective of the type of music they do.
Mama Ntilie hit maker was speaking during a TV interview where she was responding to questions on whether gospel artist Papa Dennis has switched to secular music.
“Actually he (Papa Dennis) is doing both. Halafu Kenya hamna muziki wa injili. Huku watu wanakwenda na upepo, sijui wanaangalia masuala ya kibiashara au vipi. Ila Tanzania huwezi kufanya hivyo ukaimba injili halafu ukwende huku kwingine, watu hawatakuelewa,” she remarked.

The songstress had had her flouring music career cut short after she plunged into drug addiction. She would later blame her drug addiction to her ex-boyfriend whom she claimed introduced her to drugs.
Over the years, she has been fighting the addiction. Currently, she is living in Kenya since December 2017.
