He is among the popular pastors in the country. Pastor Pius Muiru is the senior pastor at Maximum Miracle Centre while his wife Lucy is the associate pastor. He is commonly known for his Kuna Nuru Gizani programme. He also stays in one of the city’s posh suburbs in Nairobi and the first time for his house to be seen publicly was during his daughter’s wedding.

The controversial pastor of Neno Evangelism center also lives large. From driving expensive machines to living in a luxurious home in Karen, some pundits would say, thanks to his ‘gullible’ followers. He also owns a hotel along the busy Nairobi- Nakuru highway.
