Rock bottom:
Soon after he agreed to go to church, Collo was fired after he lost a company laptop where he worked. Everything from there went south; their finances dried up, they went up in debt and without food.
“Before then, we had never had a problem with money. We had everything and extras, including the money! In a flash it was gone and we found ourselves in debt…
“We couldn’t hide from each other because we were all we had. We were stripped before each other. None of our friends and family members knew how deep our situation was,” she added.
Phoebe added that when she now looks back at those times she is grateful at the man, father and husband Collo has turned out to be, “seeing the man he has now become is one of the reasons I judge God faithful.”
Collo made a name for himself in the hip hop group Kleptomaniax alongside Roba and Nyashinski before giving his life to Christ.
