Bahati is known for his big stunt where he sat on the president’s seat and sang to the first lady during the Jubilee party launch.
Bahati was last nominated for the Groove Awards in 2016 but for him, that is not a setback. He said that for the last two years he feels he has achieved more than he has ever achieved. His biggest achievement he says is mentoring the people he has signed in EMB records. For him he says, many people think that because he has not been nominated ever since then he is probably not doing so good in the music industry.
When asked by Chito from Kiss FM during the Maloco Show why it took him so long to unveil Mueni, he said:
