Revisiting the animosity that she faced during the scandal’s media coverage, Waiguru, who is vying for the Kirinyaga gubernatorial seat on a Jubilee ticket, also touched on the alarming tendency of Kenyans to take swipes at people they don’t even know just to score a few cheap shots online.
She threw in singer Gait’s experience into the mix.
“And it’s not just me and my children, the other day I saw someone being interviewed and crying, he’s just singing his songs and people are hating, don’t listen to the song of you don’t like it, why are you abusing him? What has become of us as a society? You wear something they hate you …you don’t wear they hate you…” She emotionally said to Jeff Koinange
