Gospel singer, Willy Paul, was admitted in hospital under unclear circumstances and sparked some wild assumptions from his fans on Wednesday, August 3. The singer now says doctors told him constant exposure to different climates, because of his frequent travels, caused his breathing complications, which, led to his unconsciousness.
Willy Paul opened up on the reason why he was hospitalized saying he collapsed in his Kasarani house because of breathing complications.
Speaking to Citizen Digital, the singer, who was hospitalized in Mater hospital and later released on Wednesday 5, said his neighbors rushed him to hospital after they found him unconscious.
“I had developed breathing complications,” Willy Paul told the website
“I am not asthmatic and I have never experienced such a condition. So I don’t understand how it came about. I collapsed at home; and when I regained consciousness I found myself admitted to hospital. I gather it is my neighbors and friends who rushed me to Mater.”
Fans started speculating on social media on why the singer was in hospital after he uploaded a picture and asked them to pray for him.
Willy, however, said that the doctors said constant exposure to different climates, because of his frequent travels, caused his breathing complications.
“I am feeling better now, though I have mild pains in the neck. I am taking a bed rest until Saturday. I will resume performances Sunday as I am the bread-winner of my family. That explains my urge to get well soon,” said Willy Paul.
